Droppings, but where was the mouse? Justin went after this problem like a real detective. First he checked the whole house and outdoors for any little spaces into which a mouse could crawl. Then he sealed a couple of indoor spots. There was no way a mouse could have come in from outside cracks so he asked me if I ever left the front door open. Sure I did when I took the dog out for a quick late night peepee. He figured it must have just scooted in when my front door was open. He went about this with not only such intelligence but with a real knowledte of rodent behavior. He knew their habits. He could tell which droppings were old and which were new so he knew were to hunt. And then! He realized because of the newly sealed indoor spots under my sink that led to behind the dishwasher, that the mouse must have gotten trapped inside the wall and was forced to exit the house into the only path left and that was to the boiler room. And, there he found the mouse!! Problem solved. Add to this that Justin was always exactly on time or early. He is kind, sympathetic, helpful, and, as I pointred out, smart as can be. This is the company you want to help you with your problem. Excellent communication, experts in their field and very fair and reasonable fees. For the first time in a long while I found a couple of dead rats in my furnace room, one in a trap, another probably succumbed to poison. This company answered my first call and maintained excellent communication with me. They came out to survey my problem in an expeditious timeframe and didn't leave until,miraculously, they found the exact spot of the intrusion point (Eric literally had to crawl on his stomach under decking to get to and fix what was most likely the access point). Wow I can't say enough good things about you. I had a 2 raccoons stuck in my HVAC system and the pest control company that my leasing company used was absolutely horrible and made the situation worse. Got on the phone with Eric and he was the only pest control company that actually picked up the phone. He assured me it was an emergency and was out the very next morning. Justin came out and was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely flexible as we waited for approval from my leasing company. He knew exactly how to solve the problem. The job didn't end there, Eric continued to check in on me and my family making sure the Raccoons had escaped. Justin came back to reseal the area and made sure the raccoons could not get back in. Eric and Justin were amazing and really helped my family and I get out of a really bad situation. I recommend them for all pest control needs. Eric and Justin are fantastic and they get the work done. And they were great with my dogs!!Posted onVerified Eric is a man of integrity, and I am very happy to recommend him. After three mouse sightings in my kitchen in recent weeks, I had to do something. I had two estimates before Eric, and both of them proposed major patching work to my basement and kitchen costing well over $1,000. This was disheartening, because I already had major work done about five years ago and thought all entry points were sealed. Eric inspected my kitchen and basement, and he said the mouse -- possibly just one that I saw three times -- was a fluke and that it possibly entered through the gap under my back door. He even complimented the work the previous exterminator did and said it is holding up. He fixed the problem with my back door on the spot by installing a threshold under the door to close the gap, costing a fraction of the other estimates. Time will tell whether the problem is fixed for good, but I am confident that this really was a fluke and I didn't need the major repairs. If I see any more mice or their calling cards after a few weeks, I will call Eric again and ask about a more aggressive solution. I trust him and appreciate his honesty. Highly recommended.Posted onVerified We had rats in both cars and required service. Eric and his son came out and used non-lethal "birth control" which seems to help. They also tried the rat bonker which uses C02 to kill rates humanely. It's great that MRG strives to use humane approaches to rodent control. The rat bonker didn't work for us as even though I tried several different baits - our rats wouldn't take. Thing is, rodent problems take work by the occupants as well as the pest control company. At his advice I did massive cleanup of the fence (which had ivy) and a grapevine and found some rats nests. That week long projects seems to have pushed them back. I also experimented with a half different baits. I think these services are evolving and a lot of this is hit and miss. Using the old styled poisons in the Bay Area is illegal, ineffective and dangerous to wild life. Honest, excellent communication, shows up as promised.Load more
